Market Plan development begins with an analysis of the current market situation including the business sales, historical trends, customers, competitors, company strength and weaknesses, environmental factors, The goal of this critical step is not only to understand the present business position but more importantly the business drivers (those levers that when pushed, promote or deter sales in that business).  
With consideration to your company’s internal/external limitations and resources,  growth opportunities are identified and evaluated.  We then work closely with you to develop a vision and set specific goals for where you would like the business to go in the future.
It is only after the prior two steps that actual marketing strategies, programs and action plans are developed.  These plans are the roadmap to get the business from where it is now to where it will be in the future.
While many consultants may stop there, JMR believes that it is critical to routinely monitor the implementation and results of the marketing programs making adjustments as needed.
